Adedeji Ebo is currently Chief, Security Sector Reform at the United Nations Dept of Peacekeeping Operations. He was Head of the Africa Programme at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) from 2003 to July, 2008. Before joining DCAF, he was Associate Professor and Head of Dept of Political Science and Defence Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy. His latest publication is The Opportunities and Challenges of Parliamentary Oversight of the Security Sector in West Africa, published by DCAF and co-edited with Prof Boubacar N'Diaye. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the African Security Sector Network.
